About
The Ministry for the Environment, Energy, and Public Cleanliness is thrilled to announce the third edition of the "Christmas in the Park" event. Building on the great success of previous years, this year's edition promises to be even more enchanting and environmentally conscious!
Situated in the heart of Salini Park, in St Paul’s Bay, the village will be open from the 8th to the 22nd of December. It will provide a Christmas experience like no other, fun and entertainment for all ages, and a strong focus on sustainability.
One of the most captivating features of the Ministry's Christmas Village at Salini Park is the Illuminated Pathway, a path showcasing endangered species, each decorated with vibrant lights and a profound message of conservation.
Enjoy live music performances that will fill the air with holiday spirit. Picture a peaceful yet festive atmosphere where families can create lasting memories. Visitors will also be treated by a diverse range of food stalls, including those offering traditional Maltese delicacies.
Various exciting activities for our young visitors including sustainable crafts, and face painting to puppet shows and bouncy castles, there's no shortage of fun-filled adventures awaiting children at Salini Park.
When visiting the village, be sure to take a stroll through our artisanal craft stalls and discover unique, handcrafted ornaments that make for perfect holiday gifts. By supporting local artisans, you not only find one-of-a-kind items, but you also contribute to sustainable, local economies.
Several environmental entities under the Ministry will have informative stands throughout the event providing attendees with a deep dive into the current environmental projects and initiatives happening locally. Thus, as you immerse yourself in the holiday spirit, you'll also be broadening your awareness of our entities’ dedication to a better-improved environment.
The Ministry's Christmas in the Park event at Salini Park is not just a celebration of the season, but a celebration that intertwines the joys of Christmas with the importance of sustainability for a greener future.
